Icar’s beautifully vibrant “In Us We Trust” along with others involved in this month’s mural walk. We are honored and extremely humbled to be involved in our lovely community for over 9 years.
“I want viewers to not just see the art or even appreciate it. It is my hope that viewers really allow themselves to engage with the imaginative component of these works. I want them to be participants in the works; to use the works and the questions (that are in the wall text, so get up close to the work) to push themselves to reimagine democracy as we know it. I want them to create in their minds what should exist and how this new world they have been inspired to conceive in their minds, could be manifested in reality”
